For over 30 years the Southern NY Neurosurgical Group served our community needs in Neurosurgery. From the efforts of its founders : Drs Deluca, Storrs and Teller, the group united the region's leading neuroscience professionals in a shared mission: better outcomes for every patient. The Southern NY Neurosurgical Society is a continuation of that mission. We are a non profit that aims to bring all providers : from EMT first responders, ED physicians, to neurosurgeons, neurologists, neurointerventional specialists, neuroradiologists, physiatrists, psychiatrists, psychologists, neuroscientists, nurses, physical/speech/occupational therapists, case managers, social workers, nursing assistants and aspiring students who are united in the efforts to provide the best care for patients with neurological disorders

30+ Years of Neuroscience Leadership
Founded in the early 1970s, SNY Neurosurgical Group began as a small gathering of neurosurgeons committed to sharing knowledge and improving regional care standards. Over three decades, the service care area grew to include Western Pennsylvania and Central/Southern Tier NY. The Southern NY Neurosurgical Society is founded to bring together the more than 200 professionals spanning emergency department physicians, neurosurgery, neurology, stroke care, rehabilitation, psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses and allied health disciplines who are aligned to provide the best in coordinated care, to patients suffering from neurological disorders. Today we are the region's premier neurosciences professional society.
SNY NeuroSurgical Group founded by a coalition of local neurosurgeons based in Binghamton, NY
Dr Sethi Joins the SNY Neurosurgical Group. Service Care Area is expanded regionally to include Central NY
SNY Neurosurgical Group launches formal CME programs and annual symposium
Dr Sethi starts the NeuroSciences and Spine Group and lays the foundation of the Southern NY Neurosurgical Society
